More specifically, Lauren transforms complex topics into high-quality stories that helps companies connect with their audience and educate their readers. She has been hired by top companies, as well as small start-ups, to inject personality into their brand, including The Muse, ezCater, AOL, and Dropbox. Lauren also has a long track record of ghostwriting blog articles, infographics, and eBooks for prominent professional service companies. She is a certified inbound marketing specialist. Prior to joining Donnelly Effect, Lauren helped three technology start-ups launch their website and establish their brand guidelines as a creative copywriter and small business consultant.

Before freelance writing, Lauren excelled as a career counselor, a marketing coordinator for a Fortune 500 company, and an owner of (still is!) a successful resume writing business that helps overwhelmed job seekers reenter the workforce with style. When she’s not writing, you will find her wandering the North Carolina mountains trying to escape WiFi signal with her rescue dog, Lyle.
