Jill Hamer has been in the service and shopping center industries since she joined the Walt Disney Company in Orlando, FL in 1992. She was immersed in their prestigious VIP Guide training program, handled lead and front-line duties, hosted VIP Guests through the Walt Disney World Resort, and worked on special projects with the Marketing Department. Jill joined the shopping center industry when The Macerich Company hired her as their Marketing Director in a suburb of Louisville, KY. She was quickly named Assistant Mall Manager/Marketing Director, and was a finalist for an ICSC Maxi Award. As the Marketing Director for Westfield Shoppingtown Annapolis, she also created and facilitated “The Promise”, Westtfield’s Customer Service Training, across the portfolio. In 2001, Jill earned the distinction of Certified Marketing Director from the ICSC. This same year, Jill joined the Rouse Company as the Marketing Director, developed and implemented the marketing campaign for a mall expansion project, and corporately developed a pilot program for the sale, reconciliation and marketing of Rouse Company gift certificates.
In 2003, Jill joined consulting and training firm Customer Service Experts, Inc. where she worked for 13 years. She served as the Director of Training and Consulting Services before being promoted to Vice President, and earned the prestigious CPLP (Certified Professional of Learning and Performance) certification from ATD (the Association of Training and Development). In 2015, Jill joined Donnelly Effect, LLC as Vice President. She also began creating YouTube channels for fun. She develops, produces, edits and posts content for 4 channels that have collectively amassed over 200 million views in less than 2.5 years. Her role in video production, marketing, strategy development, communication and client relations are among the factors that have helped the company grow over 50% since 2015.
Jill is a graduate of The University of Delaware, Leadership Anne Arundel, and served on the BOD of the Maryland Seafood Festival.
